Total Alkalinity Booster (Buffer)
Throw in a capful of alkalinity booster a week and your total alkalinity and pH levels will be kept in check, i.e. water that is not acidic. Water that becomes too acidic leads to red-eye, itchy skin.

Lithium Based Chlorine (Shock)
Even with bromine in the water, algae and other bacteria can still grow. Throw in a capful of shock a week to ward against this. If you find you are using the tub quite often or have a party where the tub gets a lot of use, an extra capful a week will suffice.

Bromine & Bromine Dispenser
Fill up the bromine dispenser with bromine tablets and let the dispenser float in the tub while you're not in it. As the water passes through the dispenser the tablets begin to dissolve, releasing bromine into the water and thus providing continuous SOFTUB sanitation.

Cleaning
Chemical upkeep and cleaning are the only things required to maintain a SOFTUB in good working order. A SOFTUB's water should be changed every 3-6 months.
